The new grant program, authorized under the Water Infrastructure and Improvement for the Nation Act of 2016, provides $20 million to assist states for the voluntary testing of lead in drinking water at schools and child care programs. EPA will host a grant webinar to provide information about the new grant program, what is needed for the letter of intent, and answer questions.
