If you are interested in sustainability, solar energy and storage, building energy efficiency, and/or global community development and want to support meaningful project-based learning experiences for students, faculty and PSU partners, please consider joining us for a two-hour event on March 25th from 4:00-6:00 PM at the Land and Water Building Dr. Paul Shrivastava will host the meeting to introduce the Penn State community to an exciting opportunity for faculty and students to engage in an initiative to design and build clean energy communities for orphaned children in Kenya and Guatemala and establish solar energy enterprises which will provide careers for the children aging out of care. The goal of the meeting is for Penn State faculty, program administrators, and students to learn about Horizon and the EmPOWER Program, and explore ways in which you can contribute to, participate, and benefit from engaging in this effort.
