Research Summary
Frans Padt has more than 25 years of experience in community and regional environmental planning and design as a researcher, educator, policymaker, consultant, and volunteer. He teaches at the undergraduate and graduate level.
His research and teaching include:
- The social and political dimensions of land use planning;
- Environmental sociology;
- Community science, planning, and design;
- Science, Technology, and Society (STS) studies and public policy.
